When do Red Stars start Laying Eggs?

They are pretty small, but she has layed an egg a day for six straight days. It's pretty exciting finding that first egg.

My Black Star started around 18 weeks, and laid an egg almost every day for a year. However they were medium size rather than large, and a paler brown almost pink. Now all our hens are down to maybe 4-5 a week instead of 6-7, and our Black Star's eggs are a LITTLE bigger, but still not a large or extra large, and still pale brown.

We have 18 hens amber sex links, red sex links, comets and tetra tints. We got our first egg Sunday and have gotten a total of 5 since then. Hens are spaced about a week apart in age with each breed. Not for sure whicj hens have laid the eggs, but hopefully within a month they all will be laying. Oh yeah didn't get any eggs today. Is that normal when they first start laying?

I have 6 black sexlinks and 2 golden comets that are 18 weeks old waiting on eggs anyday. 3 of my black sexlinks have big red combs and wattles. I see eggs soon.

My Red Star Brandi started laying right on cue at 20 wks laid one egg a day everyday for 25 days and then just stopped! We are at day 5 with NO egg. She's not molting, seems healthy and happy, no new behaviors... I just don't get it. The coop is lit. ( I already know there is a difference of opinion on this). They are on a good layer feed, plus greens, extra grains, yogurt, ACV in their water...sigh.
Any thoughts?

Mine are 15 weeks today, and looking good and all very happy.
I've just build a fence around outside their coop where they can enjoy fresh air at their leisure,
and feed on the spinach planted outside.

I've lost a few to date due to pecking and a rogue mongoose who got in somehow one night.

A change in diet by adding ground fish-heads mixed with sunflower seed husks, maize and regular layers mash
has stopped all pecking and I'm looking forward to my first eggs from my remaining 285 girls.
Can't wait

I still can't quite believe it, but one of my stars at 13 weeks and 5 days laid her first egg, and my first egg ever! I thought it was 6 days, but now that I think about it she sang her egg song yesterday evening - I thought she was startled or bumping heads with another pullet and remember thinking, 'that's funny...sounds almost like an egg song', but there it was on the coop floor today. I had to count and recount the days, but I'm 100% positive about her age. Her sisters all look normal with varying degrees of comb size and pinkness, but she is definitely the most developed. Has anyone else seen this early an egg-layer in their experience?

I'm a bit nervous to go on a vacay w my fam bcuz my little babies are 17 weeks old. Don't want to miss my first egg. I read on here that the pubic bones get farther apart. Did anyone notice this? On mine they are currently 1-1 1/2 finger widths.
