When do roosters start to crow?

I am actually glad that I found this thread.......I have four almost 16 week old roosters.....none of them have started crowing! We have to get rid of two of them but hey, I want to hear you sing!

I'm praying for an egg and not a crowing sound. Right now my EE is about 5 months... no crowing and no eggs. I've been told he is a rooster, but was also told to wait some EE have male traits but are in fact female. As long as he/she doesn't crow we don't have to get rid of him.

I have 2 16-week roosters that I have not heard crow, but my neighbor thinks she heard one try to crow the other day. I haven't heard them though.
