When do they go back to laying

Could someone tell us when a hen that hatched out her own eggs goes back to laying again. We are going on three weeks and the chicks have been moved to a separate brooder because the other birds were not being good hostesses.

It depends on the hen. Some will start laying in a couple of weeks. Some take a couple of months off.

my bantam started to lay at 4wks after she'd hatch her three chicks..shes laying one egg most days
