Hi,

I have a 18 wk old white leghorn hen, and I was wondering if anybody has pictures of their leghorns of POL so I could compare.

Thanks!

No I don't have a pic but, you should see eggs from about 20 weeks-6months. The larger the bird the later the laying. When the comb and wattles become red, that is a signal that eggs will come soon. Good Luck!

Anytime now. My Leghorns layed at 16 weeks. I'm at 19 weeks now with m RIR,Barred and Red Sexlink and no signs....Maybe the season. Maybe my chickens have their own chemistry right???

They'll possibly start laying soon. Watch to see if they're hanging out in the nesting boxes or squatting. 5-8 months is the most common time for chickens to start laying. =]
