when do they seperate at night

ok so it is already dark here now and my cute babies are all cuddled up with each other some under the heat lamp and others away.. but they are all one jumbled mess of feather/fur they are so cute all using one another as pillows.. when do they start sleeping sitting up and away from one another on perches? I wouldnt mind if they always stayed this way because it is too cute..

Our flock just turned a year old and although they sleep on their roosts, they always sleep right next to one another.

Roosting together at about 9 weeks old...

We've sold the Cochins and Sebrights since the above pic was taken and kept the Silkies seperate (and also the extra roosters). Here's the Easter Eggers and Silver Spangled Hamburg roo sleeping on their outdoor roost when the temps were heading for the single digits...
