When Do You Stop Incubating?

Out of curiosity, when do all of you stop incubating? I'm setting up a poll just to see~

I stopped a week ago but it all depends from year to year sometimes I incubate through september or like this year stop around the start of summer.
But I still have hens sitting on eggs.

I'm on my second to last batch now, which are currently hatching (black east indies). And peafowl eggs due shortly after. I will not be incubating anymore this year. At least I don't think I will

I've hatched so many chickens, geese, plenty of ducks and quails and peafowl this year. I'm soooo done lol. I'm sure by next spring I'll be chomping at the bit to hatch more.

I start early in the year hatching our own stock for replacement breeders and project birds. After we hatch all we need we start on orders. We hatch anytime for orders on chicks.

Usually we are finished with hatching our own stock by May or June. Seldom have any fall orders for chicks. I plan on shutting our incubators down in mid July this year except for the one we leave running for small orders.

I try to have all of my hatching over and done with in the spring so that I can have the birds out of the brooder before the weather turns really hot and humid.

When pigs fly, or I run out of eggs. In other words never!

My last hatch was about 2 weeks ago. After now there isn't as much interest in people wanting to buy chicks and all of my flock must be adults by the time winter hits or they won't survive.
