My Buff Chanclear is 2 months old, the others (different breeds) a few weeks younger and have their comb coming in but not her. It's just a bald red spot. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? Thanks!

I assume you mean Chantecler and yes that's normal. They have what's called a cushion comb which is very small. It'll be more noticeable as she matures but it won't grow big, it'll be pretty much flat and reddish.

I have a buff Orpington and she is roughly 3 months and her come is very small. My other buff Orpingtons' are growing faster what does this mean. Sorry I am new at this chicken business.

Chickens have their comb right from the beginning when they hatch, and it will slowly get larger or fill out as they become older. Your Chantecler does have a comb- she just has a small, flat comb called a Cuchion comb. Its a normal characteristic of the Chantecler breed. She'll never get as big a comb as a Leghorn, Orpington, Barred Rock, etc., because those breeds have single combs.

In response to this question, it could mean several things. It could mean that the other birds are roosters and she's a hen. It could also mean that she is going to develop slower than the others or that she is not as close to laying.

I have buff Orpington's as well, about 2 1/2 months old. One girl has always been smaller, like the runt of the litter, maybe this is the case with yours. She could be lowest in the pecking order and getting less feed, but they all grow at different rates just watch her see if she eating a lot or getting picked on. as for the comb, buff Orpington's have tiny combs, is hers different from the others some how?

She still has no comb but she says! Whoo! :). There is only a bump above her beak, a very small one, size of a bug bite.
