Mine were happiest at about 90 degrees the first week and now they are three weeks and starting to feather It is at 82 degrees. I base it on how they act. Loud peeping meant they were cold but this last batch were fine with 90 degrees. I keep the house at about 76 degrees It's been in the 90's outside and they are headed out as soon as I can finish the new coop. I do have to change their brooder stuff every couple of days because they too get stinky.
