Could i put a styrofoam eggcarton in the bator for hatching or would it melt?

Would a carboard one not get condensation on it? I want to find another way to hatch so the eggs dont get pushed to the side and get chilled and die.

The cardboard ones absorb the moisture, the styrofoam ones it wuld rest on the surface and get the egg wet.
can you not use the cardboard ones?

The only other ones i have are styrafoam ones.

Don't know if it would help with rolling around but I have seen people use cupcake liners. I put a dishtowel in there, helps a little. Good luck

Yes, you can use the Styrofoam cartons. They are what I use.

I don't know whether it would make any difference or not but I cut the bottom out of the carton cups before I set the eggs.

i was just scared of condensation, great to know they work.
Yes I cut holes at the bottom of the cups too!. I think it helps with air flow?
