when purchasing shipped eggs

What does 3 +1 or 6+1 mean? Does that mean a total of 4 and 7????

Yeah, the 3 + 1 means you're paying for 3 eggs and you will probably get an extra or two if there are extra eggs in the nest at the time the eggs are being gathered and packaged.
