When should I expect eggs....

My gold sexlinks and partridge rocks started laying about a month ago now. They were about 2 weeks ahead of my easter eggers. I still have yet to get a bluish egg! Are they just slower to mature?

Some breed mature slower and some individualsature slower. It really depends on the chicken

I have 7 brown egg layers and 3 blue/green. I've been getting about 4 brown eggs average a day.

Exactly just like people. It takes time and lots of patience

I'm not sure of the exact time but my EE's were quite a bit later than the Deleware's or White Leghorn's. Thanks for reminding me. I have a doz or so coming on and would have forgotten.

My EEs are 2 weeks younger than my brown egg layers, but look much further behind developmentally. I just got my first eggs from my 21 week Australorp and don't expect my EEs to lay until late September/early October.
