When should I start killing my heavies?

Greetings and salutations everyone

I ordered 25 heavies males from Mcmurray for meat. They are all 4 months old now and some have started singing. I am wondering at what age should I kill them?

heavies=mixture of heavy breeds all roosters.

you could start withe biggest ones now and give the smaller one another week or so
or if you are gunna do them all at once 16-20weeks is fine just depends on what size you want them

I once got that All Heavies Special from MMH. I did like Tarzan said, started doing the beefiest ones at 16 weeks and did a few each week afterwards until they were all gone. That was one of the benefits of raising that assortment for meat, the convenience of being able to do just a few at a time while the rest waited and continued to grow until I was ready for them. What breeds did you get? Which ones are the biggest now?
