When Should She Be Laying?

Hi guys im kinda a newbie but im curious when my pullet will start laying shes about 6.5 months old but still no comb at all super strange

My americana or ee as im told came home 3/9 and laid this seek for the first time. She is still now very red. Has yours shown any behavior like looking to lay yet? When you get her
