When the comb isnt enough

I know that the comb cools the chicken down but what else can I do to help them cool down??

I have noticed they started to all try to get n the shade and

even my dog is and panting too.... So how can I cool them down and get them comfortable? They already have some shade and they have fresh water available, Thnx

Other then the obvious of plenty of deep shade and water, on the hottest days I give my chickens a place to wet their feet, even if it's just a puddle from a sprinkler. I also have a fan in the barn and each coop has it's own fan. Getting their feet/legs wet really helps as does keeping the air moving around them to dissipate heat.

I have wading pools filled with water and clover. Or water and mint and rose petals! The hens love playing in the pools...
