Hello! I am wondering when I can bring my four chicks (2 1/2 weeks old) outside for the first time. It is about 80 degrees in the morning and evening here, and 90 degrees during the day. Maybe in the shade? Some things I have read say you can bring them outside as early as 3 weeks, and some say to wait until at least 5 weeks. Of course, it would only be for a few minutes and they would be supervised the whole time.

Yes you can absolutely bring them outside.
It helps them build up their immune systems to be out early. And they'll love it.
Chicks that hatch under my hen are out more or less as soon as they can get around easily enough.
For my incubator chicks, they usually come out within the first week.
Have fun giving them a tour.

Yay thank you!
