When To Candle?

I am really new at this and jsut put eggs in the bator on sunday.

I candled before putting them in and didnt put 2 in because they had small cracks and 1 because it was too porous.

What days should i candle on next?

What days do you candle in general?

For someone not experienced at it, I'd say candle at 9-10 days. And be sure you have a very bright light. Most regular flashlights are not bright enough, especially for darker eggs. The porous one could go in, too, though. Worth trying anyway.

When your new to candling day 10 is good to be able to see your veining and embryo. Very dark room and a small mag flashlight!

I bought a little candling light for $6 dollars works great even for green egggs!
