When to candle...

My broody duck is due to have her eggs hatch in 6 days! Extreamly excited now I was just wondering when to candle them again. its sunday today and they are due next saturday ish so shall i candle them tuesdaay and friday? is that too many times or too late/early??

Ok, bit late. I'm guessing you have candled already? Now you need to leave them be - no turning, no candling, no touching.

Do bear in mind, with some ducklings, it may well be hatch day, but they can take up to 3 days to fully hatch. These next 5 days will be so exciting (and nerve wracking!) for you

On a seperate note, how much do you think a call drake would go for at auction/sale? I'm selling one and dont know what to expect
