Oh my gosh, thanks for the laugh! I remember those days...

Pips should be happening soon. Don't open the cover, as you will let the precious humidity out. Patience. I really like the plastic egg holders that hold 2 and 1/2 dozen eggs. I cut mine down to 6's and 12's and they have air vents in them already, don't suck up the moisture, are reusable and I can toss them in the dish washer.

I've started just taking the turning trays out of the turner and laying them in the bator and then putting the eggs in there. Sure they can still wiggle a little but it did the job great for me.
