When to help? When to worry?

How handsome! :) well the boyfriend is prolly gonna kill me but after a day full of keeping a lonely duckling company, I went and bought him some swedish friends. I didn't realize how tiny he was til I saw them all together! They're pretty much standing in a circle taking turns pecking each other. Is this just how they get aquatinted?

It's best to intro slowly especially if one is smaller than the others. put something between them in the brooder so they can still see each other but no one is getting pecked. it only takes a couple days of supervised time together to get use to each other. Look forward to seeing them all. you posted while I was typing. their not too much larger than baby. and very pretty too. If you want to try and keep the mess down to a low roar, you might try making one of these..

Well whoops to that part. In any case, they've settled down. This baby hasn't been this quiet and content since he has hatched! Thank goodness!

Is he definitely a Muscovy Krissy?
I know there are probably differences between u.s and aus but he looks a lot like a breed of wild duck we have here.
I can't for the life of me think of thier name but:-/

Yeah I still don't know for sure. But the guy raised welsh harlequins and muscovy but I am about 97% sure it's not a little welsh harlequin. Lol!
The store where I got them only carries giant pekins, khaki Campbell, mallards, and swedish. So I am thinking these are black swedish

Except maybe a little older of course!

I have them a little baking pan with about a cm of water in it. It was so much fun! :p
