When to intervene with goose egg

Hi, does this goose egg look like it had internally pipped to you? I waited until it had been like this for 24 hours before putting the safety hole in. Its been like this for another 24 hours since. Any advice? i hear tweeting

Yes it hatched by itself over night and all was good
