when to introduce new pullets?

I'm looking to buy two Easter Egger pullets at some point to integrate with my current flock of three Easter Egger hens (might be two at that point because one is having health issues) and I'm wondering what time of year is best for doing that. I'm trying to decide between June and September. I could see June being advantageous because the birds are generally happier in the summer when the daylight hours are long, the weather is nice, and they have grubs to dig up. But they are more active then and maybe would have more energy to put into bullying--I'm not sure. In September they're usually molting and lower energy, but they're also more grumpy, I assume because molting is uncomfortable. Are they more likely to bully when they're energetic in the summer or when they're grumpy in the fall? Am I overthinking this? Are there other variables I should think about it contemplating June vs. September? Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.

(Some extra details in case they're helpful: I do plan on keeping the pullets in a separate smaller coop at the beginning and to do the introduction process gradually. I won't be immediately throwing them into the larger coop with the big girls. Also, they have a good sized fenced off area that we let them into each day, but if we're away for the weekend or something they're locked up in a smaller--but still reasonably sized--predator proof run.)

I'd pick June, but I'd be doing it for my ease, as I'm more busy in September.

One thing that helped when I integrated by chicks was to divide my run with some 2x3 welded wire fencing, chicks on one side, adults on the other. Every afternoon, I'd take out some feed and sprinkle it along both sides of the fence. That way the two groups of birds could get used to eating near each other.
