When to move 6 week old chicks outside permanently?

My girls survived the night! It got down to 53 last night and I went out and checked them before going to bed and they were on their roost and not in the pan of shavings that I provided (just in case). I'm happy that I don't have to truck them back and forth anymore! Thanks all!

I moved mine outside at almost 5 weeks. We keep a heat lamp in the chicken house and they come and go. On cold days I pull a tarp over the top of the run and they seem to be fine.
