when to quit

Day 21 started wednesday at 4pm. That means we are 11 hours into day 22 and we just had our first hatch out of 24 eggs. I hear one other chirping but there are no pips anywhere. How long do i give everyone else before i give up on them? :/

Day 21 is just a "due date" not an exact science.

In fact, the rooster I have sitting on my lap chatting his head off to me hatched on day 23 last year. I would give it until day 25 & candle before I toss.

Whew, thank goodness. I had ten wiggling away yesterday, tgen a non wiggler hatched and everything quit moving. Like....hours and hours of nothing

It takes some a lot of time. Up to 24 hrs between pip to zip and easily 12 hrs or so to chirp internal pip to external pip. Please keep us posted!

great! u got plenty of time. they can go three days before ya need to feed and water if need be.
