when to remove Mama

We had a hatch of 5 one week ago and I purchased 6 more recently. I have them in my large brooder separated by a screen. Mama with hers and the orphans all together. I would like to handle Mamas chicks, but she is wild when ever I get to close! Read lots of peck marks on my arms! I'm thinking I should just remover her to the adult coop and let the chicks be together? Any problem with doing this now? thanks, kevin

Keven, your momma is protecting her baby's and you should be happy for this and if you want her to hatch out more for you and raise good healthy chicks then see if she will take care of the other chicks as well ......
