When to separate breeds?

I want to try to hatch some Buff Orpingtons, but right now they are mixed in with other breeds. How long should I keep them separated before I can be sure that I get buffs and not mixed?

3 weeks is usually recommended.

I believe it's around 3 weeks. I"m sure someone with actual experience will be along soon to give you a more definitive answer.

Thanks for the info. Its finally getting warm here and I am looking forward to some new buffs. I bought my other ones from someone who wanted to start over with a new flock and they are over 3 years old but are still laying very well.
