I was just wondering when to boost up the humidity and stop turning the eggs....on the 18th day or 19th day. I have read that some people do it on the 18th day and some on the 19th day. I have 10 EE eggs and 2 white leghorn eggs and I'm on the 15th day.

For chicken eggs, I stop turning (remove the auto-turner) and raise the humidity on day 18.

Thanks both of you. I thought it was the 18th day, but thought I had read somewhere on here that someone had done it on the 19th. Well then...that means in 3 days I stop turning, raise humidity and watch and wait, and don't touch ....wooo hooooo...I'm gonna have some babies! I hope!

very eggciting!!!! Good luck

Thanks so much.... I think I need all the luck I can get. I can see by candling, that the babies are growing fine and are active, but I worry that something might go wrong between now and hatching. I candle every night to make sure they are all still alive. I'm going to go crazy with worry when I have to stop candling on the 18th day.
