Hey all!!!!!!! So, the ducklings are officially 4 weeks old. They are currently on Manna Pro Duckling starter crumbles. When do I switch them to layer pellets? When do I stop giving them brewers yeast? I feel like they are tearing through the crumble within minutes. Thanks, yall!!

Ducks don't need layer pellets, but some do feed them. I personally feed an All Flock ration year round. You shouldn't feed a layer unless your hens are actively laying. Switching them to a pellet may help cut down on waste. When hens start to lay you should provide a separate bowl of oyster shells for the calcium needs.

we switched to flock raiser at three weeks and continue with brewers yeast until 8 weeks mostly because of the Pekins . We don’t feed layer because of the drake. Oyster is always available on the side.
