When to Take Away the Light?

When do the chicks not need a light anymore for warmth? My chicks are 12 days old. Two of them are starting to roost on their feeders. Should I put roosts in their brooder for them or is it too early to do so?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

They need heat until they are fully feathered - no more tufts of down ANYWHERE on their bodies, usually 10-12 weeks.

I had a roost in my brooder before my chicks went in there. I just didn't take it out from when I had my older chicks in there. They started roosting when they were about 1-2 weeks old.
I would probably go ahead and put something in there for them to roost on.
