Your hum sounds good !! On the end of day 18 stop turing, up the hum to 65% and dont open the bator again in till all the chicks hatch !!

Good luck, hope you have a great hatch !!

the last three days up humidity but around 55. At 65 to 70 percent to many chicks drown when pipping.

Quote:Ive always up'd my hum to 60% - 65% and have had great hatches that way. I think we each find what works good for us !!

  6. And see...I don't up my humidity until the first pip...and I have great hatches. So there really isn't hard and fast science...it's what works for you.

I was upping my humidity to 65% on day 18 and had chicks drown...so I don't anymore. I up it to around 50%....maybe a bit more...after the first pip and have great hatches. [IMG]
