My rooster was slightly over 6months when he first started crowing. It took him a while to move up in the pecking order being he was the youngest of the bunch.

I have 2 a Japanese bantam and a phoenix that started crowing about 2 weeks ago at the same time the are from the same hatch too! I open the doors to my bedroom early every morning so I can here my boys crow!They are so funny when they're learning to crow. Here's Rhode Island Rhett yesterday, braying like a donkey. lol

so fun!! and at that age too cuteMy hens an two roosters who a just 4 months stared crowing about 2 weeks ago. My blue andalusian rooster who is just under 4 months just stared crowing this week.
