When will I get more rabbits?

Bryan sweetie, I don't want to sound mean but... You really didn't think this through did you. You're supposed to do the research first, not the breeding. She needs a box, much like a chicken nesting box. THe babies will probably be born overnight. Make sure that mama has extra food and water. Somepeople give he a treat of yogurt before she kindles(gives birth) to give her some extra strength. She will feed the babies twice a day, you will probably never see her actually feeding them. Just check to make sure that their bellies are fat and they will be okay. at about 6 to 8 weeks of age they will be fully weaned. They will start bouncing around and eating solids by about the second or third week. Go to the library or book store and buy the storey guide to raising rabbits or the rabbits for dummies book. If she is a first time mama and you end up with more than 8 babies expect either a few to die or to raise a few on kitten milk, again get he storey's guide it has that info and is a good reference book.

It was an "accident" my friend let the rabbits play and he was trying to piss me off.

Ive raised my far share of rabbits but they always were weaned by the time i got them

at about 3 weeks I put a bit of rabbit pellets in the nest box so they could start eating. It helps with the weaning process also there should be hay in the nest box as they also need hay to start out eating. The moms fur alone is not going to keep them warm enough as the weather gets colder.

This sure is exciting! Bryan you better post pictures ( if you can get any ) as soon as they are photable ( lol) Ive had rabbits for years, outdoor and indoor, but I always get them at around five months or when they are too old for production and ready for the pot. I dont eat them though, lol, i just provide a retirement home. Although there was this one time a friend brought a wild baby rabbit to school in her purse.... needless to say I got it from her and kept him till I could get ahold of my neighbor since he is the head of the Humane society around here and has conections.

Ok. She is a fat rabbit but I can't tell if she's bigger. If she's building Nest a such she probally pregnate right?

I would say if she was pulling fur you will have babies soon. dont know what kind of box ya put in there for her but ya got to make sure the babies cant fall out the front and if they do ya need to pick them up and put them back in the nest so they dont get to cold

Sighhh... Don't you just live friends. In that case you are probably doing the best thing by coming here. I totally understand with the fat rabbit thing. One of our does is very fluffy and we still don't have the feeling the tummy thing down yet. You'll know one way or another in a few days if she's going to kindle.
