When will it be warm???

Well, my family will start getting warm on Sunday, we're heading out on a cruise (for a friends wedding) Going to Belize City, Cozumel and Key West... Can't even wait!

I have been trying very hard not to complain, since we need the rain to bring up the water table, and the cold to kill pests.

Plus, I'm hoping that since we've had soooo much cold weather, maybe we won't get a late freeze that kills all the fruit trees & dogwood blossoms.

But as I watch the wood pile diminish, I'm thinking that I'll be without a fire in the fireplace before winter really ends. Thank heavens I stocked up on candles!!!

We're having a heatwave today...all the way up to 20 is the forcast for today. We got home from town a little while ago and it was heavenly out there. Clouds forcast for tomorrow--no shadow for the ground hog--YEAH!!!

weather is going to be around 61 today -- the sun is out - it is starting warm up nicely, chickens are all sunbathing , and just when I think all is great with the world - the wind has to start blowing at around 20-30 mph

oh well at least it is not snowing/raining.

and if that little groundhog sees his shadows I am going to make mittens out of him !!
