My brother does that to my dad all the timeGlad I went to bed last night.....mr muddy called me before 8am!!![]()
i’m sure they went to bed by dark and probably woke at sunrise......that’s typical for camping. (especially since they didn’t have a lantern last night)My brother does that to my dad all the timehe thinks cause he’s up early, everyone else should be too lol calls at like 6-7 or pops in.
on weekdays my dad’s usually up but weekends often not hah or he falls back asleep. Although to be fair, he’s always bragged about how he’s up at 5 every morning when he is really not especially lately (he puts the coffee on and pees and goes back to sleep) so DB probably figures he’s already awake
heck, I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom too… maybe I should start claiming that’s what time I got up

i’m hoping mr muddy gets home fairly early tomorrow and feels up to sharpening my shears and helping me take out some more boys!!! the chickens will have to wait until next week now because i know he won’t have that kind of energy and i’m out of propaneI have 15 boys sitting in the kitchen waiting for the pot to get to scalding temp. I guess I should go check the pot.
we’ve processed using different methods.....scalding makes it slightly easier to hand pluck without tearing the skin. but it still happensFiddle sticks. Mowed as much as I was able and came in to cool off and eat breakfast (lunch, really). You've already got the quail done.
I've been dry plucking, does scalding really make it any easier? Dry plucking a quail is easy.
