Fiddle sticks. Mowed as much as I was able and came in to cool off and eat breakfast (lunch, really). You've already got the quail done.

I've been dry plucking, does scalding really make it any easier? Dry plucking a quail is easy.
Scalding at the proper temperature for the right length of time and making sure the bird is not full of pin feathers makes it like wiping the feathers off of the carcass.

Do not go over 160°F or you risk tearing the skin. It can be done from 140°F to 160°F. The cooler the temperature, the longer the bird needs to stay in the water.

i’m not sure how we missed this one 😂 but even today, i walked by it at least 3 times before i found it 🤣
