When will my black copper maran lay its second egg?

Last Monday my maran layed it’s first egg ever,but there have been no eggs since then why is that?

If they're new to laying, they won't lay every day after their first egg. She may also be lazy laying which is where she hides her eggs or just lays them anywhere. Don't worry, after a few months or till nest spring, she'll be laying more and more often.

New layer hiccups.. as the complicated reproductive system comes online and works out it's kinks.

Softee's from night time roost, double yolkers, and other anomalies may happen in the beginning.

UPDATE:since I posted this she waited a week and then started laying an egg every day/every other day
