when will my chickens start laying

i have 6, 15 week old cinnamon queens. and 3, 15 week old golden laced wyandottes. 2 , buff orpingtons and 1, delaware. all around 15 weeks old.

It varies a lot. Probably 20 weeks is a good average, but I'll bet you'll get the first one before then. When you see combs turning red, keep an eye out. My first this year was 19 weeks; I think one started at 17 weeks last year.

Mine were all around 20 weeks, give or take a couple weeks.

My girls are about to be 27 weeks and only one is laying-started at 25 weeks. Your cinnamon queens will most likely be first, but it could be a long wait still for the others. I've read the longer it takes, the better for the bird.

Most of my birds started laying from 20 to 24 weeks. I had some early bloomers and late bloomers.

My red sex link started at 19 weeks. My BO started today at 20.5 weeks. The remaining 5 (20.5 weeks old) are still freeloaders.
