When will my eggs get bigger??

I have 6 BR pullets that are 23 weeks old. The first started to lay at 21 weeks and is now laying an egg per day. Two others started to lay this week. However, they are all laying the same size small egg. When will the eggs get bigger? When my comets started laying it seemed that the eggs they got biggger within a week. I believe my comets have spoiled me and I might be a bit impatient.

What do you think?

From my experience with BR's, it will take about 3 weeks and they may never get as big as your what your comets layed.

The Comets have been bred specifically for big egg laying, whereas the BR are a dual-purpose backyard breed. Both birds have their pros and cons, it's just what is most important to you.

I think once the hen has laid the egg, it won't grow any bigger.

Ive had buff orps for about 2 years now and it seems just recently did their eggs look bigger
