I've got a female pekin and a couple of males. They are all about 15 weeks old. The males are definitely trying to mate with the female. I've heard that pekins start laying eggs from 14-17 weeks of age and/or to 6-8 months? Does anyone know for sure?

As I am not a seasoned duck raiser, I do have 2 Pekin gals. We got them in July of last year as duckings and they started laying in November so they were about 4 months old. They have laid an egg a day for about 8 months and are now starting slow down. I guess because of the heat and for rest. Hope this helps!
