She is going to lay eggsI have 2 ISA Browns around 19 weeks of age and mine just started laying. It should be sometime within a month or so. Most chickens before they start laying start doing a "squat" where they crunch down close to the ground and push there wings back when you (the main caretaker) or a rooster approach. After this happens it is within a week or 2, they commonly start to lay![]()
Is a browns usually start at 5 months but sometimes they start laying in 6 months so she will start laying 6 monthsShe is 5 months old she is an ISA brown
