I have an EE, and a blue production (maybe?) and an orpington (maybe?) born around about 4th of July or sooner (they were about 10 weeks on Sept 11)....anyway the blue production has a very tiny comb maybe 1/4" at most, the others, none. My leghorns were faster to mature, but then leghorns are. These gals are already about leghorn sized. They are not laying yet (which seems to come after combs.)

Sorry, not the best photos as it was dark and they were hyper. Obviously the leghorns are not the birds in question.

The bearded gene suppresses wattles and as your EE has a pea comb it won't get big overall anyway. Orpingtons are slow to mature so your girl may not start to grow her comb for another month or so. They do all mature at different rates, but they'll get there eventually. Leghorns sure put other birds to shame in the comb department.
