When will my white chinese goose start laying?

Geese start laying eggs the following spring after they hatch. Depending on the breed. Some larger breeds dont lay until their second year. Breeding season, depending on where you live, usually starts last part of december or first part of january and lasts until May or a little longer. Your chinese should start laying when breeding season comes back next spring, which would be when she is 9 or 10 months old.
The eggs arent much different in taste than a chicken egg. Just a little richer. They are great for baking. The best thing is just try one for yourself. Some people like them and some dont. Never know until you try one.
