When will the avian flu pass?! RESPOND FAST!!!!!

They just banned poultry shows, sales, auctions, ect in Ohio today Starting to get worried they will take "preventative" measures.

Yeah, I read they are going to start testing backyard flocks in Ohio. . Why the heck isn't this thing slowing down? Come ON hot weather!!!!!

I think Im just going to eat my birds rather than risk the USDA coming and killing them all. Atleast they wont be wasted

they won't kill them unless they test positive.

I heard about the shows being canceled but I hadn't read about possible testing of flocks here. I will definitely look that up.
This flu is horrible. I ordered my daughter a chicken finger dinner the other night. It use to come with 6...they have cut that down to 3 at the same price.
To think of all the effected birds is terrible.
To top it all off, I am currently trying to find homes for 2 EE roosters but right now no one wants to take the chance.

It said that they were going to test in a newspaper article I read. And I've heard rumors. But haven't heard of any actual cases of testing here.
