Yep, one bowl does wonders. Today I gave them one bowl and for the most part they all are together

I love the look of the ground your girls are walking on... our run just gets so mushy and wet, particularly in the winter. Is that wood chips? Mine is mostly dirt and sand and old mulched straw. Of course, they have access to grass, but in the winter, they're mostly confined to the run, so I'd love a better ground cover.

Feed troughs are better to work with than bowls. There is a recommended distance measured in feet or inches of feed troughs that each bird needs to be able to get enough food.
