When will they leave?

I went to check on the babies tonight that were hatched 2/14&16 (a month ago) and this is what I encountered and wanted to share. You would think the way they are acting that they are newly hatched!

I hope this picture shows how big they are compared to momma:

Oh gosh, those babys are HUGE.
They can be separated right away.

That second pic is priceless. It's almost an answer to mama hen's question if they'll ever leave. They're adorable! Love those big ol baby eyes.

No it's not bothering me or the momma, she loves them. This is what they have been doing at night but during the day they run all over the coop. I just thought it was funny!

I told my wife today I was going to run this last batch of Serama eggs through the incubator and only keep the hens to replace the ones I lost during that cold spell. Told her the only roo's I'd consider keeping would have to be really special otherwise we were eating some quail sized chickens.

She has been a really great momma but I think she's spoiling the kids!
