when would silki chicks get blue ears?

I got 6 assorted bantam chicks at tractor supply. They have 5 toes, and what I call "butt forhead", grey legs and beak, no blue.

They can fly too. I dont think silkies can, right?

If your Silkies came from TSC, that usually also means they came from a hatchery. Hatchery Silkies are usually pretty low quality, but I have seen some pictures of some decent looking ones. Those "button foreheads," or vaulted skulls could be an indicator that they'll be nicer than most
As for the flying, my little babies are better at it than the adults. It could be that, or it could be because they're wing feathers are stiff, something else commonly seen on hatchery Silkies, stiff feathers in the wings and tail.

My silkies fly and when I hatch chicks their ears and beaks are not blue, I have never really noticed when it developes though
