Oh absolutely I talk to my birds, entire conversations about my day, what the weather is up to and of course how much they are loved! And they actually listen!

When they talk back, I try to imitate what they're saying. I hope the English translation is something like, "Oh, I love you, momma! Your lap is nice and warm. I like how you pet my feathers so gently and whisper, 'Safe with momma, safe with momma.'"

Yup! I talk to my chickens as if they are people every morning they come and sit on my lap and talk with me. Some will jump on my back while Im getting eggs.
