Where Am I?

Good luck with it all, when your kids are grown and gone you can retire to a farm so there is still that.
I know how exhaustive it is and there is alot of information out there and even more perplexing is all the therapies work differently for all children.
What is someone's miracle is someone else's nothing and vice versa.
It is alot of trial and error, that is a given, but you will eventually find something that will work.
Sometimes, actually alot of times its a little bit of everything or alot of one thing and a little of everything else etc.
You can pm me if you want to talk.
Best of luck with everything, you guys are fabulous for doing what you should do.
It sounds like a no brainer but you would be surprised how many people don't put their kids first in this type of situation.

Interesting you say that, as unlike the cool people of this board, there are many people in our everyday lives that try to change our minds from moving back to Portland. They say, "But it is so beautiful where you live now. You have such an amazing place. You really don't have to go back to Portland." Oh really? That is amazing! I hadn't thought of that at all!

Of course I have thought of it... it is all I can think about... and yes, it totally stinks to move away, but it is what's best for our daughter, thus best for us. Thank you, everyone here, for understanding that, straight off. The kids come first. Period.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love you guys?

Thanks, PC. She is still the same glorious girl, just now with a label. We are glad to know why she has the behaviors she does, because now we can have them addressed by specialists. I know you are also giving up a lot these days for your family. It will be greatly rewarded
