I am in Nebraska. I have two giants they were supposed to be flemish. But their NOT. Not relly sure what they are. The male is friendly.... The female, well have you ever seen monty python and the killer bunny? Picture about a 10 lb ball of speckled fur....with huge teeth! Lol... Thinking about getting a holland lop bunny for the kids. Anyone have any of those?

I'm sorry about your rabbit.

Please let us know what happened about your backyard bunny. Friends of mine have had that same thing happen to their rabbits, but they never checked out the causes. I would really like to know what it was.

CityChick -
I had to laugh when you brought up the Monty Python killer bunny - that's my little girl! She can be sweet as pie, but only as long as everything in the house runs on her terms!

It sounds like pasteurella sp. - but yes, please post the results of the necropsy. Poor bun - and I'm sorry for you too.

Poor bunnyand poor you. Sympathies...

I'm in Ontario Canada and I have 1 barred rock, 1 leghorn, 2 RIRs and one pitbull. Oh! And two fish (a guppie and a molly). Oh! And one hubbie!

I plan on getting a chihuahua and more chickens if I can talk him into it! I have plenty of wild bunnies and deer though. I leave food out for the bunnies. I also want ducks. I want a lot of things don't I!!!
