When you order from these companies...do they ship directly to you, or do you have to go and pick them up? It looks like I'll be placing an order with MPC because they do not require me to order 20+ chicks.

MPC is GREAT with shipping. They have HUGE boxes for small amount of chicks, feed/water supplement and a heating pad. They could probably survive 5 days easy.

So sorry for the trouble you are having. I had some problems with Meyer a couple weeks ago and I'm only about 90 minutes from them. Took 2 days to get them here. However, from the info I could get, I think it is the post office that first handles the chicks once Meyer sends them out.
