Hi.
I bought 2 White Leghorns and 2 Rhode Island Reds chicks on Memorial Day.
I was envisioning having home produced scrambled eggs for breakfast by now.
But they don't seem to have any inclination of laying eggs. They just have jolly good time running around the yard and chasing bugs.
Neither motivational words nor empty threads of the soup pot have helped.
I hope I didn't get four roosters, but I figure we should see or hear
that by now.
Am I to impatient? By when can I expect my first eggs. Could there be something else wrong?
